ABOUT ME

I am an Oregon-raised writer currently located in Queens, New York, where I teach writing at Kean University and the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology, I hold a BFA from Emerson College in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and an MFA from Ohio State, where I received the Helen Earnhart Harley Creative Writing Fellowship Award in Fiction. You can find my work in Hobart After Dark, No Contact, The Offing, Writer's Digest, and elsewhere. My debut collection of short stories, Venetian Blue and Other Obscene Colors, was published by Wilde Press in 2015, and I am currently seeking representation for my latest manuscript.
